Our codes of conduct explain behaviour expectations of team members, parents, carers and spectators when attending a representative school sport event.

Ensure you read and understand our codes of conduct prior to attending one of our representative school sport events.

All selected Glasshouse District 10-12 School Sport team members are required to pay a district team member levy or $15.00.  This levy must be paid through the student's school one week prior to the regional representative school sport trial. All students selected in the individual sports of swimming, cross country and track and field are required to pay a district team levy of $5.  This levy must be paid through the student's school one week prior to the regional representative school sport trial. 

We recognise that sometimes students enrolled at an affiliated school may not be able to participate in a district trial. As such, we have a policy whereby students enrolled at an affiliated school can apply for an exemption from participating in a district trial.

This policy does not guarantee that a student with an approved exemption will be selected in the district team. However all students with an approved exemption will be considered for selection in the respective district team based on various sporting criteria and their history in the sport.

How to apply

District trials – team sports

Please use our application for exemption form - team sports (PDF, 117KB) if applying to be exempted from one of our district team sport trials. 

We must receive this form and all other required documentation no later than 24 hours prior to our district trial.

District trials – individual sports (cross-country, swimming and track & field)

Please use our application for exemption form - individual sports (PDF, 118KB) if applying to be exempted from our district cross-country, swimming or track & field trials.

We must receive this form and all other required documentation no later than 48 hours prior to our district trial.

District trials are not a 'come and try' participation event.  You should be sufficiently skilled in your chosen sport to trial.

Step 1

Register your interest to attend one of our district trial events with your school sport co-ordinator or physical education teacher. The sports co-ordinator or physical education teacher will give you a district trial notice and permission form.  You must have this signed by your parent or carer and your school delegate..

Your school will forward to us a school team list for each district trial event.  This will take the form of an attendance register.  This will be used for contact tracing in the event of a COVID incident.

Step 2

Come along to our district trial and bring with you:

·         Completed and signed student permission and medical forms

·         Completed and signed mouthguard consent form (if required)

If you do not have all of the above documents when you attend our district trial, you will not be able to participate in our trial and you will need to return to school.
