How to register to attend a district trial

Follow our simple steps to attend a district trial.

STEP 1

Go and see your school sport coordinator for more information about a district trial.

STEP 2

Pick up our 'District trial consent booklet' and fill it out.

STEP 3

Get your school sport coordinator to sign-off that you can attend our district trial.

STEP 4

Register online to attend our trial event. Registration links are included on our district trial notices.

STEP 5

Come along to our district trial. Make sure that you bring your filled out 'District trial consent booklet' with you.

You must hand over your completed 'District trial consent booklet' to our event officials on the day.

Remember that you cannot take part in our trial without handing over your 'District trial consent booklet'.

Exemption applications

We understand that there may be instances where students enrolled at an affiliated school are unable to participate in a district trial.

The good news is that we have a policy in place that allows eligible students to request an exemption from attending a trial if your child meets one of our eligibility criteria.

How to apply for an exemption

Simply to see your school sport coordinator and request an exemption application form.

Fill out the form and make sure that it is signed.

Gather all required supporting documents together. Remember to give us a sporting resumé detailing your sporting performances and playing history.

Take the exemption application form and all the supporting documents to your school sport coordinator and ask them to email all the documents to our district administration team.

Our district administration team must get your application and its supporting documents no later than 24 hours before the start of the relevant district trial event.

We have developed this manual specifically to support you in achieving success in your role.

Our district officials' handbook (PDF, 558kb) aims to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of your responsibilities, as well as the rules, policies and benefits within our program.

District officials, if you require more detailed information beyond what is covered in this handbook, we encourage you to reach out to us, you district committee executive. We will be able to prove you with further assistance.
