Golf 10-19 years regional trial notice

Date and time

Tuesday 31 March 2026 – 7.30am briefing.  Tee times from 8.00am.  (18 holes)

Alternative wet weather date if required - TBC

Location

Beerwah Golf Club, 24 Biondi Crescent, Beerwah

Who can take part in this trial?

Students must be turning 10 to 19 years of age in 2026.

Please note: 19 year old students are able to be selected in the regional team but they are not eligible for selection in the state team.

Register to attend this trial by 11:00pm Tuesday 24 March.

Cost

• $25.00 – Please pay by Tuesday 24 March. 

• Go to our regional online shop information to learn how to pay.  

• Click on the 'Pay now Levies and apparel' button.

• Click 'Regional Trials' and follow the prompts.

• Bring a copy of your payment receipt to the regional trial as proof of payment.

Consent forms

• See your school sport coordinator to collect your regional trial notice and consent booklet.

• Complete our regional trial consent booklet and make sure that it is signed by a parent or carer and authorised school delegate.

• Hand in your consent booklet to the regional officials when you check in at the trial.

• You cannot take part in this trial if you do not bring your consent booklet. 

Sport equipment

• You must wear appropriate golfing apparel and footwear.

• You must supply your own set of golf clubs.

• No motorised carts/buggies or caddies permitted.

• If you need strapping you must bring your own tape. All strapping must be applied before the trial starts. Strapping is the responsibility of the individual player.

Golf Australia handicap limits

• 10-12 yrs - Boys AGU handicap of 27 or less.  Girls - AGU handicap of 36 or less.
• 13-19 yrs - Boys AGU handicap of 8 or less.  Girls - AGU handicap of 22 or less.

Food and drinks

Standard pro shop facilities available.

Sun safety

• Bring your own sunscreen and put it on several times during the day.

• Wear a hat and stay in shaded areas when you are not playing.

Hydration

Bring your own water bottle and hydrate regularly throughout the day.

First aid

A first aid medic will be attending this trial.

State championship information

Dates:                         14 June - 17 June 2026 (playing dates)

Location:                    Rockhampton Golf Club / Yeppoon Golf Club

Travel:                        You must make your own travel and accommodation arrangements

Approximate cost:    $550 plus team apparel

Regional team size

• 10-12 years: maximum 4 males and 2 females

• 13-19 years: maximum 7 males and 5 females ​
