In 2025, the Queensland Representative School Sport 11 to 12 years Aquathlon State Championship will be held together with the Queensland Representative School Sport 13 to 19 years Triathlon State Championship in Hervey Bay.
Scheduled event dates
Triathlon:
Thursday 13 February to Saturday 15 February 2025.
Aquathlon:
Saturday 15 February 2025.
The upcoming All Schools Triathlon and Aquathlon will be used by us to pick our regional teams. This event is happening at Lake Kawana, Sportsman Parade, Bokarina on Saturday 12 October and Sunday 13 October 2024.
We can nominate a maximum of 10 males and 10 females for each age division. Finishing in the top ten will not guarantee a spot on our teams. Approved exemption applications will also be considered when we are picking our team members.
If you have registered to attend this event, you can view Aus Triathlon's athlete guide here.

Exemption applications
If you are unable to take part in the All Schools Triathlon or Aquathlon events, you can still apply to be considered to be picked as a regional team member. You will need to complete a regional exemption application.
Your regional exemption application form must be emailed to us at sport.scrssb@qed.qld.gov.au before 9:00 am on Friday 11 October 2024.
The application needs to meet our exemption reasons that are listed on our exemption application form. You also need to include all necessary documents that back up your application, such as a medical certificate or a letter from your school’s Principal. Please provide a short summary of recent achievements in aquathlon or triathlon competitions as well.
We will email you and let you know about our decision regarding your exemption application. Successful applications will be in the running to be picked in our regional team. Keep in mind that an approved exemption does not mean that you will automatically be picked in our team.
