The Queensland Representative School
Sport (QRSS) aquathlon championship will be held in
Harvey Bay on Saturday 10 February 2024.
Team invitation process
We invite athletes to join our team based on
the following process:
- Achieve a result at the Triathlon Queensland all-schools event being conducted Saturday 28
October 2022 and Sunday 29 October 2023, or
- Email a completed absentee application form (PDF, 141KB) with supporting documentation to our
office before 9am, Friday 27 October 2023.
- Absentee applications must
meet an approved criterion and
- An accepted absentee
application does not guarantee that you will be
invited to join our 2024 aquathon team.
Getting an invite to join our team
We consider a number of factors when
choosing who to invite to join our 2024 team. These include:
- Your finishing result at the
Triathlon Queensland all-schools event
- Any approved absentee applications
we have received in an age and gender division
We will email registered and exempted athletes later
in term 4 to let you know if you are invited to join our team.
We will nominate a maximum of 10 team
members in each eligible age and gender division to compete at
the 2024 QRSS aquathlon championship.
Multi-class athletes
The QRSS aquathlon championship includes a
multi-class division. Multi-class athletes must hold a current
Swimming Australia and/or Athletics Australia classification to
be eligible to compete.
