Tennis 10-12 years regional trial notice

Date and time

Wednesday 11 June 2025 – 7:45am players report to tournament desk. 

8.00am – First round matches on court.

Alternative wet weather date if required – Wednesday 18 June 2025

Location

Sunshine Coast Tennis Centre, Central Park Road, Caloundra

Who can take part in this trial?

• Students born 2015, 2014 and 2013

• You must be selected in a district team prior to the regional trial.

Format

• Seeded draw and second-chance feed-in draw.

• Regional team of 4 boys and 4 girls announced at the end of play.

Cost

• $25.00 – Please pay by Wednesday 04 June. 

• Go to our regional online shop information to learn how to pay.  

• Click on the 'Pay now Levies and apparel' button. 

• Click 'Regional Trials' and follow the prompts.

• Bring a copy of your payment receipt to the regional trial as proof of payment.

Consent forms

• Complete our regional trial consent booklet and make sure that it is signed by a parent or carer and authorised school delegate.

• Hand in your consent booklet to your district team manager prior to participating at the regional trial.

• You cannot take part in this trial if you have not returned your consent booklet.

Sport equipment

• You must supply your own playing equipment.

• Match balls will be supplied.

• Districts will inform players of their uniform requirements.

• If you need strapping you must bring your own tape. All strapping must be applied before the trial starts. Strapping is the responsibility of the individual player. 

Food and drinks

• A basic canteen is available for snacks and drinks. 

• You are encouraged to bring your own lunch.

Sun safety

• Bring your own sunscreen and put it on several times during the day.

• Wear a hat and stay in shaded areas when you are not playing.

Hydration

Bring your own water bottle and hydrate regularly throughout the day.

First aid

A first aid medic will be attending this trial.

State championship information

Dates:                         14 – 17 August 2025 (playing dates)

Location:                    Cairns International Tennis Centre, Cairns

Travel:                        You must make your own travel and accommodation arrangements

Approximate cost:    $450 plus team apparel
