Sunshine Coast School Sport will use the AusTriathlon All Schools Triathlon & Aquathlon event to select our regional teams for 2026.

Who can take part in this trial?
You must be turning 10-18 years of age in 2025 (born from 2015 – 2007).
Multi-class athletes
- Multi-class athletes can register and compete in the multi-class aquathlon or multi-class triathlon event.
Registration
You must register with AusTriathlon to be considered for selection in the 2026 Sunshine Coast School Sport team. Online registration closes

State championship information
Dates: 12-14 February 2026 (playing dates)
Location: Hervey Bay
Travel: You must make your own travel and accommodation arrangements
Approximate cost: Triathlon (12-13 February) - $350 plus team apparel
Aquathlon (14 February) - $250 plus team apparel
Regional team size
Our region will be nominating a maximum team size of 10 males and 10 females per age division.
Finishing in the top ten at the All Schools Triathlon & Aquathlon event is not a guarantee of selection in the Sunshine Coast team, as there may be approved absentee applications that need to be considered as part of the selection process.
